For what you need it?:
To exchange database software that ran into licence limitations (to much used cores or connections per minute, to much processed data, DB to slow, etc.) but you do /can not pay x-thousand $/€ of licence fees, and that again and again.
OR
You are a developer and just want to test something super cool but calculative and performance consuming but do not have the money to pay X-thousand $/€ for a licence to fully use DB performance, just to test something. OR you have a profitable idea but not the money earned yet, then you are right here :)
Why you need it?:
Its fast & performant, REALLY easy to use (no marketing bla bla) and REALLY affordable
Why you need it now?: Every further licence period payed for propreritary databases is lost money and only frustrates developer wich then run away because of the limited posibilities to change something.

THIS WEBPAGE - and its content - is for all who are totally annoyed of usual DB`s
For example because of the following reasons:
Are U too TOTALLY ANNOYED processing PAAGES of preinstall-instructions SIGN BY SIGN, before you finally can fire the first "Select * from Dual" (or the like) ? Cryptic config files wich leads to more config files wich leads to .. And Da-- - we know what happen if SOMETHIN is wrong ;)

tired of initializing insane complex objects just to fill then every da-- - deeply boxed - attribute by Hand?
You know what i mean? >>
You simply have a project in a "IdontKnow-language" and u just want to "QUICK" save some data with your prog - and yes more than 100 connections at a time? U just want to "DROP" a DB "SOMEWHERE IN THE FS" and then ASK THE DB "THERE" somethin with a simple SELECT-Syntax? U just want to save some data of your prog - so to say - "BY THE WAY" but persistent?
No more project-changes because propreritary driver XY has update needs again! U dont want to download and integrate a new driver just because THEY want U to update?
U Just want to open/call SOMEWHERE IN THE CODE a function like: askTheDb("Select customerName, customerAdress from Customers Where department=Sales") - and that spits u a formatet file infront of your feets - ready to get further processed by ya busy Prog?
Even if we know better - somtimes professionals begin to consider other "TRUE" reasons for the Problems XD ..
WHATEVER ! - AT LEAST SOME NIGHTMARES ENDS HERE :)

LICENCE-MODEL / Lizenz-Modell:
Every private person has to donate for it once. If you downloaded the fodb you can run as much copies on your computer and may run as much queries at a time, as you want, or your hardware allows. You may move and copy the database inside your filesystem as often you want. If you want to use your database on another computer you have to download / donate 10€ for it again to then copy the data files from old release folder to the release folder of new copy.
If companies ( with less than 1000 employees) want to use my database in their company domain (over several PC's) please donate with 450€ via "normal bank transfer - not with Sofort Banking" (s. main menu > categories > Donations) then I send u a version that works on whole domain, but not in a not-domain - so not on personal computers :)
Beruf / Profession:
EXTREME IMPORTANT HINTS:
Ensure the DB does not run virtualized or in sandbox (colorful frame around the GUI) otherwise SQL-Statements has no effect on data files
If you want to use the DB thoroughly and performance is critic: ENSURE that AntiVirus or other security software has scan-exceptions configured for the database Release folder (no virtualized, sandboxed or auto-containment enabled for that folder )
